Event Details

Explore the world of the Amazon through the beautiful butterflies and bizarre beetles as you learn more about the wonders of God's creation, their habits, habitats, and predators.  You will learn more about cultural preservation and Bible translation practices while you create a mixed media butterfly or beetle to take home.

Then you are welcome to stay with us and have lunch in the Cafe Wycliffe and spend your afternoon in the Wycliffe Discovery Center. (Lunch costs are not included.)  Take time to stop by the Village Shop for unique books and gifts.

Ages:  Kindergarten through Grade 5

9:30am-11:30am

 

Program Registration and Cancellation Information

 

  • Pre-Registration is required to attend Wycliffe Discovery Center Programs.  Your payment is your registration and you will be emailed confirmation.  
  • We have a minimum class size of 15 participants to hold each class and a maximum number of 30 participants. 
  • Due to demand for classes and our limited space, students must withdraw from classes 7 days in advance of the program date to receive a refund.
  • We reserve the right to cancel the class if the minimum number of participants is not met and will notify you seven days in advance if there is a cancellation. You will receive a full credit. 
  • No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations on short notice.
